Herbert Plumb (1862 – 1918)
	
Herbert Plumb was born in Nottingham, England. He came to Dawson in June 1898 and owned mining property on Bonanza Creek. He ran a bakery in Dawson. He was a member of the Yukon Order of Pioneers and the Loyal Order of Moose. In 1918, he worked for White Pass & Yukon Route and was a messman on the sternwheeler //Selkirk.// He was a “workaway” on the //Princess Sophia// when it sank in the Lynn Canal and all aboard were drowned.
