Napoleon E. Picotte Napoleon E. Picotte came north in 1886. He signed the founding charter of the Yukon Order of Pioneers at Forty Mile in December 1894.((Yukon Archives, D. E. Russian prospector John Zarnowsky staked Claim #17 Eldorado Creek and sold it to Picotte and James Hall for $10,000 - $5,000 down and $5,000 on reaching bedrock.
