Ranj Pillai (b. 1974) Ranj Pillai was born in Nova Scotia to parents Johnena Lee and Gopi Pillai. Ranj grew up in Brook Village and Inverness and moved to Antigonish to finish high school. Pillai sat as an elected Whitehorse City councillor from 2009 to 2012.
