Clea Roberts Clea Roberts is a poet who has been published in many of Canada’s finest literary journals. She and her husband moved from Vancouver to Whitehorse in 2003.((Justine Davidson, “Yukoner to have book of poems published.” //Whitehorse Star// (Whitehorse), 13 February 2009.)) Roberts achieved international recognition with her 2010 book //Here is Where We Disembark.// The first part of the book is about life in Yukon and northern British Columbia and the second part is based on research about women who participated in the Klondike gold rush. Roberts spent many hours reading personal letters held at the Yukon Archives. It was translated into German and Japanese.
