Mike Rourke Mike Rourke graduated from Lethbridge Community College in 1977 with a diploma in Renewable Resources, and from the University of Alberta in 1988 with B.Ed degree.((Mike Rourke, //Rivers of the Yukon Territory: Nisutlin River// (revised). Houston, BC: Rivers North Publications, 1996.)) He and his wife Jocelyn lived about ten years in the Yukon in the 1970s and ‘80s. About half of the years were spent in Faro. He and Jocelyn spent hundreds of hours in the Yukon Archives researching Yukon history and they travelled the rivers in Yukon, NWT, and Alaska. Their children, Matthew and Gillian, went with them starting at a very early age.
