Robert Riddell Robert Riddell was a trapper who settled in the South Fork area of the Macmillan River about 1898. He assisted Frederick Selous in obtaining animal specimens for various museums.((Need source)) In 1907/08 he accompanied Joseph Keele on his explorations of the headwaters of the Pelly, Ross and Gravel rivers.((J.
