In December 1921, the editor and manager of the //Whitehorse Weekly Star// was announced to be E. Chester Roberts.((//The Weekly Star// (Whitehorse), 9 December 1921.)) J.D. Skinner wrote an editorial that seemed to confirm a rumour that the previous publisher’s instability was the cause of the paper’s recent problems.
