Neil Stewart (1865 – 1918) Captain Neil Stewart was born in Glengarry County, Ontario. He was a former driver for the Dawson Fire Department, a pioneer teamster of Dawson, an employee of the North American Transportation and Trading Company and Yukon Gold. He was a member of the Dawson Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Dawson Odd Fellows. Neil Stewart drowned when the //Princess Sophia// sank in the Lynn Canal.
