Spencer Ryan Deehr Sumanik Spencer Sumanik was born in the Yukon. He was raised to ask questions and find answers through logical process. He attended the University of British Columbia studying mechanical engineering and researched the anaerobic digestion of spent brewer grains to find value added product. He went on to pursue a Master of Applied Science in Areospace Engineering. After graduation he found work at the Yukon Research Centre looking at the implementation of renewable energy in remote isolated power grids.
