Andrew Theodore Taddie (d. 1942) Andrew Taddie was a well-known merchant in Granville, a community on Dominion Creek in the Klondike gold fields.((//The Whitehorse Star// (Whitehorse), 9 October 1942.)) He was elected four times to the Yukon Council as an independent representing Klondike/Dawson between 1925 and 1937, and was elected again in 1940.((Linda Johnson, //With the people who live here.// Legislative Assembly of Yukon, 2009: 352.)) Taddie did not get to serve out his term. He died in Dawson from a foot infection that caused his leg to be amputated above the knee.((//The Whitehorse Star// (Whitehorse), 9 October 1942.))
