Ian Harley Thompson (1966 – 2001)
	
Ian Thompson was a member of the Ross River Fire Crew. His many adventures included the evacuation of the Government Camp on the North Canol Road at Twin Lakes. Thompson struggled with kidney failure for many years before he died.  A previously unnamed waterfall on the Canol Road was named for Ian Thompson to honour a special Ross River citizen.((Yukon Cultural Services Branch, Yukon Geographical Place Name file, 26 August 2003.))
