Joseph Tilton (1867-1917) Joseph Tilton was born near Tilsonburg, Ontario to parents Samuel and Caroline Tilton. He came north in 1900 and worked as a teamster in Dawson.((D. Tilton was one of nine Yukoners killed on the same day at Passchendaele. He was posthumously awarded the British War Medal and Allied Victory Medal.((D.
