Brenda Lee Asp

Brenda Asp was born in the Crow Clan to mother Elizabeth Nieman. Her ancestry is Northern Tutchone, Tahltan, and Tlingit. She learned her basic design skills from her mother and grandmothers Thelma Norby (nee Edzerza) and Agnes Nieman (nee Jack). She was exposed to leather work, concepts of print design, and traditional beading. She graduated in 2010 with a diploma in Fashion Design from the Blanche MacDonald Centre. She enjoys experimenting with art and mixed media to create prints on her garments and accessories and her line of clothing has been showcased internationally.1)
