John David Austin (1942 – 2022)

Dave Austin lived in Whitehorse for forty-seven years. He served as Yukon Party MLA Mickey Fisher’s executive assistant in the 1990s. Austin served four consecutive terms on the City of Whitehorse Council from 2000 to 2012. He was known to serve the community by listening and working with people. Dave Austin was a dedicated public servant and a tireless advocate for the City.¹⁾
