Socorro “Cory” Alfonso (1950 - 2017)

Socorro “Cory” Alfonso moved to Whitehorse in 1986. She was a leader who helped the Yukon Filipino community grow by being the first of succeeding Filipino workers and their families and relatives. She died in the Philippines.¹⁾
