A.G. Bruce (1842 - 1938)

A.G. Bruce was from the Kootenay country. He worked from Ashcroft, employed in constructing the telegraph line being laid into the territory. In 1903, he stampeded into Bullion Creek but had no success in mining. He lived his last years in Whitehorse and was a well-known and well-liked figure about town. Mr. Bruce died in his sleep at the Whitehorse hospital.1)
