Ryan Burke

Ryan Burke graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2018 with a B.Sc. in geology. As a student he worked as a field mapping assistant at the Yukon Geological Survey. After graduation he worked as an exploration geologist at Groundtruth Exploration Inc., as an exploration geologist with Archer, Cathro and Associates, and as an exploration geologist with Victoria Gold Corp. He discovered the copper and gold Catch property southeast of Carmacks, which in 2023 was being explored by Cascadia Minerals. He also discovered the Pike/Warden copper, gold and silver property east of Carcross which is being explored by Transition Metals based in Sudbury. The Yukon Prospectors Association awarded Burke the Prospector of the Year Award in 2023.1)
