Shelby Blackjack

Shelby Blackjack is Northern Tutchone and a citizen of the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation. She has a Diploma of Fine Arts from the Victoria College of Art and a Master of Education in Leadership from Simon Fraser University.1) In 2022, Shelby was awarded Yukon Government's 2021 Indigenous Employees Award of Honour for her work as the Manager of Implementation in Aboriginal Relations.2)
