Dale Corman
Dale Corman, president of Western Copper, accepted the 2009 Robert E. Leckie award for the clean-up of the Casino copper property northwest of Carmacks. The company tore down old and decrepit buildings, fixed up others for continued use, removed empty fuel drums and other garbage from the site, and closed up an old portal. They gathered all the scrap metal in one location for disposal and re-contoured and fertilized slopes and old roads and trails to encourage re-growth.1)
