James Campbell (b. 1872)

James Campbell was born in Scotland. He was mining in the Dawson area in July 1916 when he enlisted to serve in the First World War.1) He was recruited by Captain George Black and was in England by August 1917.2) Campbell returned to the Yukon and in 1923 -24 was working in Yukon Gold Company’s lab.3)
