John Stanley “Jack” Chisholm (1875 – 1918)

Jack Chisholm arrived in Dawson in 1898. He and his brother Jim were logging contractors in the Klondike. Jack was a member of the Yukon Order of Pioneers and a member of the Dawson Masonic Lodge. He and his wife, Rose “Hattie” nee Bell, bought tickets for Vancouver and drowned in 1918 when the Princess Sophia sank in the Lynn Canal.1)
