Lawrence “Laurie” Crayford

Laurie Crayford worked on the Yukon Consolidated Gold Corp (YCGC) dredges in 1940. He served in the army in the Second World War, and then returned to work for YCGC. In 1948, he became one of the shift operators in Dawson’s town plant and was later promoted to Head Operator.1)
