Lambert Curzon (b. 1941)

Before moving to the Yukon, Lambert Curzon was a sales manager for Security Systems in three provinces, general manager of twenty-six restaurants, and special assistant of a food management consulting firm. He moved to the Yukon in 1972 and to Dawson in 1973. He started work as Dawson’s postmaster in 1980. Between 1980 and 1991 he was vice chair and chair of the tax assessment review board, volunteered for the Klondike Visitors Association in marketing and promotion, was on the Dawson Planning Board for six years (three as chair), and by 1991 he had been on the Dawson Council for three years with one year as deputy mayor.1)
