Robert Carne
Rob Carne is a Professional Geoscientist registered in British Columbia with advanced degrees in geology from the University of British Columbia. He was a geologist with Archer, Cathro & Associates from 1977 to 1981 and a principal from 1981 to 2002. He has been actively involved in mineral exploration, principally in the Yukon, since 1972. He has served as a director and officer of numerous public companies on the TSX Venture Exchange since the mid-1980s.1)
Carne discovered and described the unusual gold resource at Banyan's Hyland Gold Project Main Zone in the late 1980s. He is a Co-recipient of the H.H. “Spud” Huestis Award for Excellence in Prospecting and Mineral Exploration for the discovery of Carlin style mineralization at ATAC's Rackla Gold Project.2)
