Thomas Joseph Collins (1864 – 1918)

Thomas Collins was born in Ontario and arrived in Dawson in September 1898. He was at one-time foreman at Bear Creek for the Canadian Klondike Mining (CKM) Company. He was a member of the Yukon Order of Pioneers. In 1918, he was working for Yukon Gold in the thawing plant. He bought a ticket for Prince Rupert and drowned when the Princess Sophia sank in the Lynn Canal in 1918.1)
