Cameron Eckert

Cameron Eckert is an ecologist and founder of the Yukon Bird Club. He has travelled extensively through the Yukon and regularly leads field trips and birding expeditions.1) Cameron is a Conservation Biologist with the Yukon Government. He has been documenting Yukon wildlife for decades. In 1995, he started a five-year involvement with the survey and documentation of the Beaver and La Biche river valleys in south-eastern Yukon. This work dramatically increased our knowledge of the territory’s biodiversity and inspired widespread interest in regional conservation.2)
