Wolfe Eberlien

Wolfe Eberlien came to the Yukon to work for the Cypris Anvil Mine. He left the company after ten years and mined on Bonanza Creek and then went to Curraugh Resources. He was an avid photographer and horseman and decided to settle in the Faro area to raise horses and concentrate on wildlife photography. Wolfe and his wife Glenda lived on a quarter section of land west of Faro where there is a growing season of about seventy-four days. They lived off the grid and used a wired 12-volt system for lights. Wolfe invested in various pieces of farm equipment and was successful in growing oats for green feed.1)
