Angus Lauchie Gillis (b. 1870)
Angus Gillis was in Dawson by 1898.1) He was a teamster working for the Dawson Transfer Company in 1902.2) He was working as a carpenter in 1903 and left Dawson to live at Fort Selkirk in 1904.3) Gillis was a carpenter in Dawson in 1916 when he enlisted to serve in the First World War.4) He was recruited by Captain George Black and was in England by August 1917.5)
