Thomas Allan Gee (1936 – 2022)
Allan Gee was born to parents Thomas and Mabel Gee and was raised on the family farm outside of Lenore, Manitoba. He moved to Edmonton where he met and married Lynne. Allan moved to the Yukon in 1965 where he worked as a trucker and later as a heavy-duty mechanic. He worked with his brother Gordie at Gordie’s Trucking and Yukon Freight Lines and after the company was sold, he worked for Frontier Freight Lines until he retired. Allen loved sports, playing and coaching hockey and baseball, and his passion was for curling. He represented the Yukon for many years, curling in the Senior Nationals and the Canadian Masters.1)
