Anthony Albert “Tony” Hollenbeck (1869-1936)

Tony Hollenbeck came into the Yukon over the Chilkoot Pass in June 1900. He was listed as a miner at Glen Boyle, Mayo, and Keno Hill. He had a placer mining application between 1911 and 1923. In 1917/18 he was a point man, working on the steam points for the Yukon Gold Company dredges.1) He was an early staker with the Lake Group of claims on Keno Hill after silver was discovered there in 1919. Hollenbeck was a blacksmith by trade. He died in Mayo.2)
