Alex Hill

Alex Hill went to work for Yukon Consolidated Gold Corp on the pole line in 1934. He worked for the electrical department until he was transferred to the Dawson Electric Light and Power Co. as superintendent in 1949. He later assumed the responsibility of the Dawson City Water & Power Company. The utility companies were taken over by the Northern Canada Power Company after YCGC closed in 1966 and Alec continued with it, in charge of the water system.¹⁾
