Jeanne Connolly Harbottle, nee Daley (1922-2011)
Jeanne Daley was born in Seattle and raised in Oakland, California. She married a Ross River trapper, Tom Connolly, in 1945. They started the Trails End Ranch and operated the Trading Post in Ross River. They brought the first Hyland cattle and Morgan horses into the Yukon. Jeanne was one of the first women in the Yukon to acquire a trapper’s license and big game guide license, and she was also a licensed pilot. She married Bud Harbottle in 1961.1)
