Nancy Hager

Nancy Hager is a moose hair tufter from Mayo. She learned to sew from her grandmother Mary Hager [b. 1907] who was always sewing. Nancy taught herself the tufting skill and uses birch bark and other organic material including fish scales in her work.1)
