Robert Hager (1873 - 1918)
Robert Hager came to the Klondike during the gold rush. He was a special constable for the RNWMP at McQuesten Post from November 1905 to May 1906. He placer mined in the Mayo area. He married [Eliza] Jimmy, daughter of Jenny Jimmy, and they had one son Edwin. Hager worked as a carpenter and a miner. He drowned when the Princess Sophia sank in the Lynn Canal in 1918. Edwin was raised by his grandmother.1)
