Copper Lily Joe, Tsal KàJana (1885 - 1987)

Copper Lily Joe’s father Copper George Joe was from the Nisling River area.1) Copper Lily’s grandfather was Copper Chief. Her father, Copper George Joe, moved his family from Lynx City to Burwash after his wife, Copper Lily’s mother, died.2)

Copper Lily’s big log house in Burwash was where the Jacquot Building is now. 3)
