Frankie Jim (1895 - 1990) >

Frankie Jim was born at Hutshi. His parents were Annie and Hutshi Jim. Frankie was a brother to Annie Ned and uncle to Elijah Smith. He and his wife, Celia, lived near the southeast shore of Fox Lake and they raised Irene Slim, the daughter of Frank and Agnes Slim, in the traditional manner of a childless couple bringing up a niece or nephew. Frankie worked with Yukon Forestry in the late 1950s and 1960s to recruit fire fighters for fires in the Fox Lake or Carmacks area. He lobbied for change with Elijah Smith, and Johnnie and Art Johns.1)
