James Kennedy Johnstone (b. 1883)

James Johnstone was born in Ontario. He was a Dawson postal clerk in 1916 when he enlisted to serve in the First World War.1) He was recruited by Captain George Black.2) Johnstone served overseas and, after demobilization, returned to work for the federal government at the post office.3)
