Gerry Kelly

Gerry Kelly was the telegraph operator at Stewart River in the early 1900s. This is where he met Rose, the granddaughter of Jack McQuesten. Gerry and Rose Kelly lived at Kellyville (352 km from Whitehorse along the Yukon River) where they built a large cabin, ran a roadhouse, and raised a large family.1) Kellyville was located upstream of Five Finger Rapid.2)
