Peter Killon
Peter Killon worked on the Yukon Consolidated Gold Corp dredges between 1955 and the fall of 1962 when he and his wife moved to provide better schooling for their children. He lived one season at #8 camp before getting married and then he and his wife lived at Granville. He spent two years working on Dredge #6, one year as a bow decker and two years as an oiler before becoming a winchman. He would have become a dredge master had he not moved away from Dawson.1)
Sally Robinson and Barbara Hogan travelled with Peter Killon and his son to Granville in September 2010 and recorded their conversation during the trip. The interview is on record with Yukon Historic Sites.
