Eugene A. Murphy
Eugene Murphy was the general manager of the Klondike Mines Railway from mid-August 1907 to November 1913 when the railway ceased operation. Previously with the Great Northern, he came to Skagway and worked for White Pass. He was with the Pacific Coast Steamship Company as the Skagway agent for several years. He moved to Portland in the winter of 1913/14, with wife Maud and two sons where he was associated with other Lawther and Latta businesses.1)
