George J. Milton (d. 1918)
George Milton was born in St. Paul Minnesota where he had a large milk and dairy business. He came to the Yukon 1898 and operated claim No. 35 on Hunker Creek. Later he bought an interest in the Five Finger Rapids Coal Mine. His wife and two daughters lived permanently in St. Paul. George Milton died when the Princess Sophia sank in the Lynn Canal in the fall of 1918.1)
