Ole Medby

Ole Medby worked a claim on Miller Creek where he took over a Yukon Consolidated Gold Corp camp in 1941. He had the only Yukon mine shaft in the 1960s, thawing the ground with a steam boiler and bringing up the ore with a hand crane. He mined his claim with two Metis workers.¹⁾
