Robert Mitchell
Robert Mitchell was the founder of the Eldorado Bottling Works, started in 1897 and operating until around 1901. Mitchell and J. Nicol were experienced bottlers and the company bottled syrups, champagne cider, ginger ale, sarsaparilla, lemon, cream and strawberry soda, and mineral water. They delivered in Dawson and ran a mail order to the creeks. They used attractive bottles with special labels. The company owners ordered a new bottling plant from New York in 1901.1)
