Rae Mombourquette

Rae Mombourquette is a Tlingit Acadian citizen of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation with Big Salmon Northern Tutchone and Marsh Lake Tagish Kwan ancestry. She received a B.A. in Canadian Studies from Thompson Rivers University and a certificate in Indigenous Women in Community Leadership from the Coady International Institute at St. Francis Xavier University. She started working as a researcher in Yukon heritage around 2010. Rae Mombourquette was appointed to the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada in June 2021.1)
