Alexander G. McDonald (b. 1891)

Alexander MacDonald was the son of Charles MacDonald, a clerk of the court in Dawson.1) Alexander graduated from the Dawson Public School in 1908. He served with the Vancouver Highlanders during the First World War. He survived the battle of Langemarck [November 1914] but was seriously wounded a month later.2) Lieutenant MacDonald survived his wounds and was wounded again in 1917.3)
