Alexander G. McDonald (b. 1891)

Alexander MacDonald was the son of Charles MacDonald, a clerk of the court in Dawson.¹⁾ Alexander graduated from the Dawson Public School in 1908. He served with the Vancouver Highlanders during the First World War. He survived the battle of Langemarck [November 1914] but was seriously wounded a month later.²⁾ Lieutenant MacDonald survived his wounds and was wounded again in 1917.³⁾
