Archie Donald “Bud” McKay (1931 – 2014)

Bud McKay grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan. In 1973, he moved his family to Faro where he became a household name, fixing anything that needed fixing. He was a volunteer firefighter, Bylaw Enforcement Officer, and Town Foreman. In 2006, Bud was awarded the Commissioner’s Award for Public Service. He and his wife Delores had three children: Shelly, Derrick, and Tracy.¹⁾
