Dorothy Grace McLennan (1914 – 2011)

Dorothy McLennan was born in Vancouver in 1914 and moved to the Yukon in 1950. She bought the Carcross Hotel, known now as the Caribou Hotel, in 1958 and loved the social side of the hotel and bar. She met her future husband Don while living in Carcross and he helped her run the business until they sold it and retired to Whitehorse in 1980. Dorothy and Don moved to Kamloops in 2007.1)
