Rob McIntyre

Rob McIntyre is a registered engineering technologist specialising in geological engineering and is a certified Canadian environmental practitioner. He arrived in the Yukon in 1979 as a field supervisor in mining exploration for Noranda Exploration Co. Ltd. He was one of the founding partners in Yukon Engineering Services Ltd.1) He co-founded Access Mining Consultants Ltd. and served as senior engineering technologist, vice-president, and then president for seventeen years. He was appointed vice president of Corporate Affairs & Business Development, and vice-president of Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs for Alexco Resource Corp. (Vancouver). He was a chair of the Yukon Gold Mining Alliance. He served twice as the president of the Yukon Chamber of Mines and chair of the Board of the Yukon Chamber of Commerce.2)
