Elsie Nightingale

Elsie Nightingale enlisted to serve in the Second World War. She became a member of the Women's Division of the Royal Canadian Air Force. She was the first member of the Dawson chapter of the Independent Order of the Daughters of the Empire (IODE) to join the active forces.¹⁾
