Eli Proulx

Eli Proulx built the Bear Creek Roadhouse on the Kluane Wagon Road after gold was discovered in the Kluane region. It was ten kilometres northwest of what is now Haines Junction. Joseph Beauchamp took over the roadhouse in late 1905.¹⁾
